Lion's variety show

I see this is coming up again. I have never been to it because I've always assumed that there is a lot of singing. Has anyone been to this event in prior years? Is my singing assumption correct? Is it super good, or what?

A lot of singing, same old potty humour each year. We used to go, not for a while. Still a bit in the old minstrel show style.

I attended several years in a row and then not again for a decade. Although I agree with Slowfood, it is still fun and a night out. Couldn't help but notice how much the show consists of 'mature' members. I applaud them for being involved, active and learning the material. Great stamina! The proceeds are returned to the community. A win-win situation!!

Last year was the 60th anniversary - and included a dinner. No dinner this year that I can see.

Yes - it is largely music - interspersed with a bit of comedy. It's certainly not Vegas - but a fun enough evening out - for a good cause.
