1998 : Victory at last for Earnhardt at Daytona


the first and only time he ever raced at cayuga speedwat,in 1982,he won a 200 lap race by 3 laps,after setting a track record when qualify (he was a 1/2 hour late, so had no pratice time, had a car rented from don biederman that he had never seen,or drove,on a track he had never before seen) and during the race he was penalized for pit stop infractions so lost 6 laps of his lead !
but it took another 16 years to win at daytona !
