We had lots of company this weekend. A city couple from our neighbourhood and their soft coated wheaten terrier (the same as our dog) visited for the first time. We had such a great couple of days, boating, sailing, walking the island trails, visiting with other islanders.
Just as we were about to take our city friends to the marina, boating friends stopped in, docked and rafted their two 34 foot cruisers. Busy place! Kind of looked like a small marina. Seven boats at the dock today! Wow!!! No sooner had the last four people left, my cousin and her partner stopped by to show us their fishing accomplishments for the day, plenty of small mouth bass. (Catch and release, they don't eat fish!!!!) So, I've been busy all day long. Tomorrow our son, his wife and three grandkids will be here. (Calm down my thumping heart. It's okay to be so happy!!!)

Not bad weather to be holidaying, cuttin' bait! Especially if you have air conditioning. On the other hand, the lake breezes haven't been too bad (for fishing) - and any climate is OK for drinking beer, I guess!

Like kishgo, I've been somewhat busy with boating entertaining.

Also have been dealing with moving a 95 year old m-in-law to an assisted living accomodation - and that has included a trauma here and there.

With all this heat and entertaining, I'm wondering why some POUNDS don't melt away!!! LOL
Observer, the assisted living business is never easy, either mentally or emotionally. Good luck to all. But 95! That's incredible!!!
