RAIN at last!

At last!!! A nice gentle rain is falling. I'm praying it continues all afternoon. Could we get that lucky? Maybe I won't have to water for a day or so! This kind of rainfall is so condusive to reading a book, or taking a nap, but I've got meat for beef stroganoff and/or beef stew on simmering. Two small apple pies in the oven, and a apple pie cake waiting to go in so I guess I'd better go get another cup of coffee and stay awake.

Lucky you! We were in the city for the weekend to attend a family gathering/first communion celebration and I believe, if I counted very carefully, there may have been fifteen drops. Nothing at our summer home.
