Re: Happy Victoria day
btw, didn't do much on the holiday, but did travel to fergus on sunday, to visit an aunt that was originaly from newfoundland.
she is eighty something years old, but still as sharp as ever, lives on her own,in a condo, near the rest of her family,(just out of fergus, and some in guelph, and one in fergus).
extremly nice lady !
my uncle met her in halifax in 1951, where she moved to after school, as there was no work at home.
her family told her to not talk to or spend time with any sailors, but she didn't listen !
my uncle was in the navy, on one of the only aircraft carriers left after the war.
he was lucky to get her as the entire family has always loved her.
