a cruel story !

i have melanoma, but nowhere nearly as bad.
the kind i have is on my nose, a recurring sore spot, that was first removed in 04, but is back again.
it grows a scab on the sore spot then goes dormant for about 10 days,but again turns red and again scabs over. the dr.. said if it repeats on a scratch (the original spot) in less than 14-21 days to get it checked immediately,before it morphs into the next stage !
to much exposure to the sun(while driving) without sunblock.
simple to get, and impossible to cure !

Wow! That story is amazing - and amazingly sad. Hope that woman pulls through it all - and hope you deal with no more than the "inconvenience" of rechecking that spot, too, growler!

Why don't you ask that they take it off? It's either a quick freezing or a freeze and dig and done.
