I received an email the other day from mario saying he was having issues getting back into the forum. Message that mario was already a member. I checked and he was not a member so I suggested he try again and then get back to me if it still did not work. I have heard nothing since. If anyone out there has heard from former members that are having troubles re-subscribing to the forum let me or Observer know. Maybe we can get something done.

I also could not join using the name I used on the other forum, said it was taken. I tried a couple other names that were not currently being used on this forum, or on the other that I could remember, was told they were in use, but yet they didn't show up in the memberlist here and there were only 8 or 9 members at that time....

Yes I had issues similar to idestiny. And the approaching colorado low wasn't helping either....but I used my awesome mental prowess to overcome them and emerge victorious. Catchy name, eh?

You should be able to change your user name in your profile. Maybe you could try restoring the legendary mario name. Under either name glad to have you back.

I too wasn't able to logon to the "new and improved" forum. After suffering withdrawal symptoms for almost a week, Gale Force emerged from my previous personna of Windy! LOL. Glad to be back!

I think it has something to do with using the same address as the old forum. Remnants of the old forum are still around such as user names. I think that is why some members have problems getting their old handle back.
