I note that we often have more guests on line than members. Would really like to extend an invitation to those guests to join us. You don't HAVE to say anything - though we would wish you would; but would be encouraging to know that we have "regulars" who monitor the site - and not just "guests".

Retired has done a marvelous job of keeping this forum viable with his constant postings of jokes and interesting websites. We would just feel happy to have more people join us as members, as did our most recent member, Howie!

It's a comfortable place to be without worry of being reprimanded for commenting on something which "isn't allowed". In my opinion anyway

You mean like on Facebook. Someone posts that a relative has died and people click the like button. I usually reply I don,t like that. I take something's different from others

AND - any of our 13 guests on line at the moment are again reminded that joining is easy - and you'd be welcome.

As a member, you still have the option of just reading and not posting - BUT you gain the option of being able to say something if something particularly strikes you as worth commenting upon.
