What's with that? Seems a bit early to bail out, so maybe the losses are just too great.

They did not seem to make a big effort in Canada. bare shelfs, poor prices etc. Not that I was ever in one

I agree, right from their grand openings there was a problem with bare shelves. I really haven't heard anything positive about them.

Personally, I don't see the attraction in the USA either. I was in Target twice last year...first and last times. Nothing at all enticed me to purchase items or return to the store.
