facebook!!!!!!!!
How many users click the like button without thinking. Twice the last few days our grandaughters got hurt, slight concussion and the other a smashed nose and when their mother posted on facebook people click that they like it. Am I missing something. I take it that they like that they got hurt. Wife sees a slightly different slant on it but I don't see her point at all

Re: facebook!!!!!!!!
The word like can mean two things to me, depending on the situation. It can simply be you 'like/approve" the posting or in the situation you described, an acknowledgement of reading the post. Often the like button is clicked and a comment made.

Re: facebook!!!!!!!!
Well, I can see your profile about gopher and school of hard knocks, six family photos and your last cover photo change on Aug. 29th and the top half of that handsome and young summer avatar you use! Perhaps you should check your privacy settings. I have mine set to Friends Only. Not even sure that I have ever changed it but obviously something has changed if you no longer can read posts/pictures.

Re: facebook!!!!!!!!
Correction. "Friends" not Friends only. As well under the privacy settings, there is a View As line. If you click on that, it will show you what the public can see. Use my name as an example.

Re: facebook!!!!!!!!
Well that was a fun evening. I found that only 2 friends were able to see any pics I had posted on facebook. I was wondering why there were so few comments on some of them. Finally found the setting that was wrong and now should be good to go. How long it was like that is a good question.
Thanks for the help kishgo

I think the same way as you. Don't use the like button unless it's a likable post!!
