Underpass repair

I see that the anticipated cost of this repair has now doubled. I saw no justification of this price hike mentioned in the newspaper article.

That one just tips my hat. I think that every flippin' upgrade or repair in our county ends up being double, and triple, of the original estimate. Even the ones that they hire a consulting firm first to "do a study" (hate those studies - all that money and things stay status quo).

I am really staring to shake my head at Norfolk County council, and some of the things they say and do. I know they didn't make the price tag but ... When can figures coming out in council meetings be trusted??
