What's your election thoughts?
Who'g going to lead in our area, and who's going to lead from a provincial perspective?

I think Toby will win again. I like Toby but not his party so he didn't get my vote the other day
With the NDP faltering it could be a Liberal majority. My 2 cents anyway

Re: What's your election thoughts?
I'm with Rick - never really been into politics. The only thing I would really like to see in this election is a majority. Don't really feel great concern as to which party it might be. Would just like to see the governing system work the way it is supposed to without an election being called every two years or so!!!
Personally, if I do go to vote, I will decline to do so. That's what I think of the leadership of the parties.

I have no particular party alliance; however, THIS time, I feel it's a necessity to rid ourselves of a party that could waste billions on scandals like ORNGE, and gas plant closures - with the plant closures, it was billions to be fronted by the taxpayers, so that the Liberals might gain some votes and win the last election.
I don't really care who ELSE gets in, but we should definitely be letting the ruling party of the moment know that we are NOT HAPPY WITH THEM.

Re: What's your election thoughts?
Toby wins here for sure. Can't see him losing, only retiring. As for who gets to be Premier I thought for sure the Liberals would lose. How could they possibly win after all they have done? So it is Hudak's election to lose and so far he is doing a pretty good job of it. Personally after much debate I have decided to vote Green. Possibly a throwaway vote but of all the parties they seem to have the most sensible platform.
My prediction is Liberals, minority. Or maybe if Hudak can win people over then a PC minority. I can't see anyone getting majority. Liberals screwed up too much the last few years and the PC platform is downright scary. Either way I doubt much will change. Fresh blood and new ideas, common sense thinking is needed. Someone who truly cares for Ontario and not just their pension.

The closer we get the more I think it will be a Liberal Majority, not that I want that. I feel a lot of people will not vote because they don't like either one and won't vote NDP or Green. Less then50% will vote

Re: What's your election thoughts?
I would like to see change, and get the liberal party out, but I don't know if that will happen. Those baskets during the ice storm won all the Torontonians over.
I don't, however, care for Toby. Reasons? Stuck in yesteryear and only focuses mainly on farm issues. Although I know farming is a big deal locally, it's not bringing jobs to our folks that need work. We need commercial and industrial activity. That's a hard gap to fill.

Hudak and Horvath will both be looking for a job shortly. She should have went another year before pulling the rug out from under the Liberals, then she might have had a chance

I was surprised at that one. Minority, yes ... But majority win surprised me.
