People buying into Norfolk Wineries

Nice to see a new crop growing in popularity in Norfolk County. Is wine the next tobacco for here? Neither my wife or I drink wine. Red gives me a headache and overall I don't like the taste.

when i was younger (under 25) back before there was any dirt, i sorta liked sparkling red wine, but after i started getting "cluster headches" i quit drinking it,as just the smell of wine,or hard liquor, and sometimes beer would trigger a cluster.
as time went on i found out chocolate, cheese, smoked meats,barb-qued meats, and a zillion other things triggered them as well.
so about when i turned 40 i gave all the good stuff up,err.... most of the good stuff up (kept eating cheese's,and stuff off the bbq,and that helped in that part of things! but the wineries seem to have taken root recently.
nd i'm not sure how the new beer place is doing ?
but in a matter of time the gov't will be against that stuff to !

Growler - as long as there is enough revenue from "that stuff" - they will only have tokenism objections

I like wine. I drink too much of it tho Embarassed

I used to dink a lot of red, but lately I've converted to white wine spritzers. To be honest, I haven't really gotten into the local ones.

I have not tried the local wines yet. I plan to.
Interested in local craft brewed beer too.

To date, the price of the local stuff is a bit high, I find. But then, I don't think I'm any kind of a connaisseur - and my palate is just as satisfied with the low priced stuff!

If I had a choice I would try the local beers over the wine. Not really a wine drinker.

I have developed a taste for craft beers and try to order a local beer whereever we are, if I don't feel like wine or a cosmo. Beer is so refreshing on a hot day.

Yup we are. It is quite warm and humid today. A great day to stay inside, or so I've been told!

That sounds so good! I am a warm weather worshipper ... So it sounds absolutely awesome. I can't wait to travel south every winter!
