It's usually about this time of year that Retired2 heads south for warmer climes. Just a little bit of info, last night around 7 it was only a few degrees warmer where I am in Florida than it was in Simcoe!!!

And it was lovely Gale Force! Today the temp. began at about 15 but by almost 9 it had dropped to 12 . Dropping temps with wind and rain is the forecast for today.

of course it was cooler in the evening, i was out and the wind blew over my heart, and when that happens the temp usually goes down 10 or 20 degrees !

It was nice to be missed. We do not advertise our leaving home so burlgers can help them selves. Vegas was great mid 70's most days.

The money does stay in Vegas. But only the amount we were willing to part with. Everything is getting pricey there now. $3.00 for a cup of coffee which is not included with a buffet breakfast. No recession there. Crowded everwhere, of course big race today, closed the strip and all the big trucks did a parade Thursday night

WOW! $3! How that's changed since a lot of years back when you could eat for practically nothing. The big push was to get you into the casino and gambling - food was just a "come-on".
