I hear Christopher Plummer is nominated for Best Supporting Actor, for something.

Always nice to see Canadian success stories.

Have no interest in watching them. Not a big TV person.

I don't watch much TV either - or even movies - till they come on CD.

I don't use Netflix or any of those internet services to get movies. Do you?

Yes, I'll watch the academy awards. My better half is away, so I won't have to negotiate tv time at all. He thinks the academy awards are dumb. We've seen quite a few of the movies on the slate. Love, love, love the movies. Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris was delightful, although quirky. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close was excellent.

The only one I saw was "The Help"

Thought the performances by Cirque du Soleil were amazing - as their performances usually are!

AND - Our very own Christopher Plummer DID win the Oscar - oldest recipient ever - at 82!

Loved Meryl Streep's thoughts about winning the Oscar again. Laughed myself silly.
