Silver Sewer (Lake) Empty Silver Sewer (Lake)

Post by Spidubic Thu Jul 19, 2012 11:15 am

On another topic that is similar to the kids jumping off the pier as it has people wanting things kept the same as olden days verses changing to new.

Silver Lake smells like a sewer

What is really the best solution for all? Return Silver Lake to the river it was decades or centuries ago or return it to the lake it has been for the last few decades? What is the right or best solution?

well my feelings are that returnig it to what it was a century or so ago may not be all that they think it may be !
with the dams all being removed maybe if we get wet years in the future, erosion may become the problem it has become on other creeks and streams along the north shore, including norfolk !
so when the harbor in dover is silted right full so as to be just a memory, and all of the homes that line the lynn are toppleing into it, who will then be to blame ? ?
