Busting Air Canada too Empty Busting Air Canada too

A fellow with an Air Canada credit was booking a flight for less than his total credit. He was to sacrifice the unused portion of the credit , if he did that - he didn't get to keep the unused portion to put toward another flight.

Marketplace says they talked to Air Canada- who now way they are reviewing their policy.

Just BTW - it seems that if you ever get an Air Canada credit for problems with a flight, you have to use it within a year - or it just vanishes into the never-never land of Air Canada coffers!

We had two credits from West Jet and I don't think even a year was given.
