Interesting to note 4 of them are Walton's who own Wal-Mart.

not to bore you with the whole story,but i had the good fortune to meet sam walton,the gent who built wal mart from nothing !

Well, we certainly ALL probably had a clue that Wal Mart's low prices weren't going to affect the bottom line of the owners, right?

ok !
back in the early/mid 80's when in so.carolina,i read a local news paper ad.that mentioned somthing(cheap!) in the automotive dept.of walmart (never knew what walmart was?)so i asked a guy where i was delivering,what store it was,and where?
so he pointed up the street to a new mall that i had drove by and said that place up there that just opened about a month ago !
so upon leaving i stopped at the stores parking lot,and started walking to the building,and heard a helicopter coming in,so after seeing it land resumed walking towards the store,but was stopped when a golfcart zoomed up,and a guy in a suit said are you driving that truck over there (at the edge of the lot)and i said yes i am.
he then started yelling at me sayig it was new ashphalt,and heavy trucks aren't to be parked on it,as they will ruin it !
then said i had to move it !
i was "pissed" !
so as i started back to the truck another cart zoomed up,with another guy riding in it in casual clothes,and he said to the guy in the suit,while looking towards me,whats going on?
the first guy said,well this guy is driving that rig over there,and i told him not to park on this new ashphalt,as it will ruin it,heavy trucks that is.
the second guy said to me,are you a customer of this store ?
i said not now,after being kicked out for parking way over there!
so he walked over,and said don't be upset,he's just a new manager,i'm sam walton, and i own these walmart stores,and if you are a customer of any of my stores you can park anywhere there is space for your truck,any time of the day !
he then gave me a coupon for $20.attatched to his business card,and said my ph.# is on that card,if anyone ever gives you any problems in the future at any of my stores,just call that # and i'll have things looked after !
but for to-day go on in,and don't worry about your truck !
so i said thanks,shook his hand and turned around and went shopping !
i threw the card awy some time later,while cleaning my cab out,one of many mistakes i have made!
BTW,at that time they only had about 40 some stores,and he went to every store once a month,via helicopter,staying only a short time at each,usually 3-5 stores per day !
i think he was in his 50's at that time,you know,an"old guy" (lmao)
so now i can't type for an hour,my typing stick is tired?
