Black Friday!

Did anyone take advantage of today's sales? They were flooding me on my email!

Went out today to get one item on sale for black friday what a waste sold out before noon.

Well - I went to Sears in Brantford - and was able to buy a couple of fairly big ticket items for 1/2 price - actually - one was less than 1/2. And, most of the other places in the mall had some kind of sales on.

I was going to go to Canadian Tire but there was no parking. People were driving around waiting for a spot to open.

My middle granddaughter called from the Mall and said she and her mother and two siblings needed help shopping. Could I come? Hehehe. I was there in 20 minutes but had a very difficult time finding a parking spot.
The Bay had cashmere sweaters on sale for 45% off the orig. $199. price tag, plus I had a $25 gift card to use (compliments of Bonnie Brooks!) so after taxes my sweater was just under $80. I think that's a GREAT buy!
Lots of shoppers but I can't say that I saw lots of parcels in their hands.

Well - I got a $250 coat for $100 - and a new duvet for my husband - from $300+ to under $200 - so I thought it was a good day. And - in Brantford - there was no problem with parking! LOL

Hubby said the same thing. He hasn't been able to get around to get out, so he had our son take him today. He said the parking lot was so ridiculous and there was no where to park so they went back home.

Vaguely remember "Cyber Monday" - but I DO know that I'm getting e-mails from some of the companies already about Black Friday sales - and the printed ads are also saying "Shop on line or in person"
