Low PD students
There are 75 students enrolled for this year in Port Dover. What a steep decline. Simcoe, on the other hand, looks to have 890 students enrolled. I didn't realize that SCS was quite that large.

The school board blew this one. They should have closed it when they first wanted to.

Did you read the article in the online version of Simcoe Reformer? Each studnent's ratio cost factor is about $20 000 -$30 000 each. EACH!!! I hope these kids lap up lots of attention and learning! They will NEVER has this opportunity again.

I don't really think it's such a great opportunity, especially a grade 12 student that's preparing for college or university.

Re: Low PD students
How many different courses could they offer with only 75 students? And that is grade 9 to 12? Might as well bus them elsewhere.
Re: Low PD students
The latest count is down to 58 students according to CHCH TV

Re: Low PD students
the thing that i'm left wondering is that with low student numbers like that are they all "SPECIAL" students?
and if they are do they get to ride on the SMALL bus ?
