Another piece of my childhood gone. I got to see them in concert at Ontario Place, a century ago.

I REMEMBER the Monkees of course - but to my eyes, in those times, they paled in the shadow of the Beatles.

The Beatles overshadowed everybody. Such amazing talent. However, even in their 'shadow' the Monkees were a hit and well known. Not a small accomplishment at any time, never mind when the Beatles were so popular.
