Shoe Store

I see Big Al's Shoes will be opening a new, larger store on the highway, with Roulston's. They also have a downtown store. Do you ever shop there? Are there bargains or just a larger selection?

The selection is massive. Narrow aisle and tall stacks of shoe boxes means careful walking. Not sure if the deals are as fantastic as Al's claims but the wife and I have bought several pair of shoes there over the years.

The last time I did any comparison shopping before getting a pair of Clarks shoes at Al's, the identical shoe at a large mall shoe store was $120 compared to Al's price of $80. That was a few years back, and I go and buy at Al's at least once a year. Not quite as easy to see all the selection, but i think it's worth it. The "buy two" sales price when its on is great too!

I've been there several times and find the prices are generally better compared to most other places.....and the selection is the best in this area, in my opinion. I enjoy not having to drive to Brantford, Hamilton, London etc etc just to buy a pair of shoes! And the no tax deals are great!!!
