I logged on to my Facebook account this morning and was greeted with a message that a young courageous woman I met last year when we both had surgery the same day is most likely in her final hours. This lady so impressed me with her positive attitude and love of family. We stayed in touch and I knew that she had been in and out of hospital numerous times and had additional major surgery during the year, and yet when I had an opportunity to visit with her while she was hospitalized the positive/funloving attitude was still right there. I didn't know her for a long time, or even all that well, but she is someone I will never forget. I'm so sad that she didn't win her fight.
