"or" or "our"
I notice that we have a section called "Humor". A perfectly correct spelling - American style. British style would be "Humour".
Which version do you use the most?
Neighbor - neighbour?
Valor - valour?
Humor - humour?

I use the u. It's the proper way for us to spell, so I use it. I don't think twice about it if others don't though.

Re: "or" or "our"
I use both, most times without thinking..
Also use color, nite, lite, interchangeably...
But then my spelling generally sucks....

I always use the "u" - unless it's an American created crossword puzzle. And there, the same thing sort of applies with "er" vs "re" - such as in center or centre - and sometimes "el" vs "le" - though I can't think of an example of that one right now.

Re: "or" or "our"
Always the British way as that was the way I was taught and taught! My Primary Supervisor pointed out a spelling mistake I had on a chart...plow vs plough. After that, I was always mindful of using the British spelling.
U or not doesn't bother me but the your instead of you're ( a contraction for you are, as in you are/you're welcome) drives me around the bend!!!

Seems a lot of people either weren't taught - or don't remember - that the apostrophe is to take the place of a missing letter. When you get your head around that one, it seems to me that choosing "your" or "you're" is not that tough!

Re: "or" or "our"
I always use the "u" as well, because it's the way I was taught, and also because its the proper way. I can recall asking my grade 3 teacher why the Americans did not use the 'u'. Her response was that the Americans felt they didn't want to waste time with extra letters because they were concentrating on the space race, and needed the time to beat the russians...well anyway tht's wht she told me.

I'm pretty sure all of us are more interested in WHAT is being said than in HOW it's being said.
