White? Yes, I guess it is for a little while. Then it just gets cold, wet, heavy and slippery. I apologize to those winter enthusiasts out there, but winter is one season I'll gladly do without.

Re: So, who is Kevin?
I think it's a little early for Kishgo and her hubby to be leaving, yet I'm sure its getting pretty cool and damp at the lake. As for me, I'll hold out for a while yet. When the sun is out, fall is my fav season. Unfortunately, the fair starts next week so I imagine the weather is going to start to be lousy. Drove to London on Monday and the foliage is utterly fantastic in some spots.

Bahahahaha. Ya, I remember that site. Quickly became a mother hen chat room.

Re: So, who is Kevin?
Hello all! We are not packed yet, but the cottage shut down started today. We finished chopping logs for the wood pile for next year. I packed up all of the outdoor cushions for the chairs and hammock. Took a look inside the extra freezers only to discover about 10 meals still there! That's good news. Less to buy and think about. After Thanksgiving the shut down will begin in earnest with a departure date of Nov. 3rd. We will leave for FL Nov 9th. Everyone asks if we are anxious to leave. The answer is no, we love our island home and the water environment. Although it hasn't been an ideal situation weather wise and reno wise it's still all good. That being said when the wind rears up and the temperatures drop, we will be less enthusiastic about staying.
I would love to see Jamaica. It sounds perfect!

Oh..regarding the Steve/Hector/Kevin situation, I thought Steve and Hector were two different people. Just my opinion. Hector took on a couple of other personas, one being female, imo. The writing/tone was too similar to be otherwise. If they are reading this note, they are gloating that they pulled the wool over our eyes. Stupid. What satisfaction can there be in that?

Re: So, who is Kevin?
Just a small correction on ob, I had nothing to do with starting this forum it was all spidubic. I just keep posting on here because I won't get my wrist slapped everytime I post something someone doesn't like, a little more freedom here.

That being said I thought if my FB was 'private' not public then only those I invited would be able to see my posts. Interesting.

I would assume so, don't know if you can hide them or not. Are you joking about the stalker? I hope

Busted Rick!
Yes Retired had a stalker a while and had the police involved. He was given a warning with the promise of charges should he continue. It was scary. One day he followed me home from work and tried to force me off the road. The police were very good about it all. This time the offence was in Brant County. When an incident was reported in Norfolk the police did not take me seriously and basically said to try to ignore him.
