Posting Pictures
Is there an easy way to post pictures? Someone on the forum asked me to do this but I really don't know how. I do recall some time ago that there was somewhat of a convoluted way to achieve this but I certainly don't remember the procedure at all.

Re: Posting Pictures
In the grey boxs above where you write go to the square with the you tube sign and the left to the first symbol, click on it. then click on browse and find your pic and click on open. Next click on Host it. When it is ready high light it and right click, when box opens click on copy and them paste that into the box where you write. All done good job

Found the button to the left of the YOU Tube button but no word 'browse' just insert URL. Easy when you know how but right now, too hard! Help!

If alless fails drag your curser slowly along the top until words appear telling you what each one does

Re: Posting Pictures
I can get to the link, browse, call up my picture but after I hit Host It, nothing happens. When I check the address box, the globe is not turning. I am hopeless.

Re: Posting Pictures
If it is a large picture it will take a long time for it to reduce the picture to message board size, it can take a couple of minutes so just let it work for a bit before you give upkishgo wrote:I can get to the link, browse, call up my picture but after I hit Host It, nothing happens. Nice looking truck! Don't you just feel younger driving it?
I reduced the picture size as suggested to the size good for forums. I'll make one last attempt.

Okay, one last attempt. Should it take longer than five minutes? Ten?

Re: Posting Pictures
Sigh. No luck. I get to the screen that shows three boxes, each one with the word copy after it. Then I hit the upload box and it takes me back to the beginning.

Re: Posting Pictures
Ok almost there, when that comes up click on the middle one to highlight it and then click on the word copy. Then move the curser into the big reply box and right click so a box opens up and the click on paste. All done. Keep trying, what else do retirees have to dokishgo wrote:Sigh. No luck. Re: Posting Pictures
Guess what? It worked!
This is a picture of the east garden, a bed that has been badly neglected over the past years. Last year and this, I have weeded, weeded, weeded so that I had room to plant my lovely hostas. With fertilizer and some tlc, all the plants are beginning to flourish. I see the Shasta daisies are missing. Guess I should take a new pic.
Thanks for you patience Retired.
