I got the moses one wrong and I slightly disagree with the 3 pills one. It says 3 pills will only last you 60 minutes. Well yes if you mean the time they are "outside" your body. But if you mean the time that they are working INSIDE your body the first pill works for 30 min before you need to take another pill. When you take the 2nd pill it's good for another 30 min before you need to take the 3rd pill. The 3rd pill also lasts for 30 min. So the "working time" of these pills do indeed last for a whole 90 minutes before the last pill wears off.

Some of these questions have been around for a while, therefore, I was more cautious. Got the Moses just fine but totally got the divide 30 by 1/2 wrong. Worse yet, I still don't understand how they got the answer!! Am I having a blonde moment, a senior session or yegads, both at the same time?????

Well, kishgo, I'd explain the divide thing - except that would be unfair to others who might want to have a "fair" shot at the quiz (as in, not to ace it because they had some advantages! Wouldn't want to give anyone an advantage! - LOL)

I have seen the explanation but still not sure I understand it

30 divided by .5 = .5 into 30. The answer is 60. Or 30 divided by 1/2 algebraically means you put 30 over 1 x 1 over 2 and then you multiply the top number times the bottom number (30 x 2 = 60) and divide that by the bottom number x the top number (1x1 = 1) Then add 10 to get the answer to the question.

And if anyone claims 11 right - I'm going to be really miffed! LOL

Hmmm....1/2 of 30 seems like 15 to me.
If a pair of shoes sells for $30 and is on sale for 1/2 off, that equates to $15 to me.
Sigh, math was never my strong suite. Hubby agrees wholeheartedly on that note!!

But kishgo it's not 1/2 of 30; it's 30 divided by 1/2. Not 30 divided by 1 - or 30 divided by 2 (which would give you 1/2 off) but 30 divided by .5.

Do it on paper. .5 into 30!
