The price of power

Just saw the announcement regarding the increase in electrical rates as of Nov. 1, just in time for the beginning of the heating season. The article I read stated that each household using 800kw of power would see an increase of approx. $4 a month. The largest increase in price would be in that charged for off peak useage. I guess the fact that I wait until the weekend to do my laundry/ironing and as much baking and cooking ahead of time that I can in order to save some money won't really make a heck of a lot of difference. Seems like the latest CEO's increase in pay will be coming out of the pockets of people like me.

there are still ways of conserving power that can be used.
not just electricity,that our provincial leaders have screwed up,but for heating and cooling overall.
some re not used because of changes in looks or expense of changing.
but as with many things no one can wait for repayment delay's.
it's like investing in bonds,if you cash them out early you don't save much.
but if you leave them alone and be patient they will grow enough to be noticed.
