I've heard people talk about the Summer Garden in Port Dover but had never seen any photos. It brings memories of dances at Port Stanley and Wonderland in London. All sweet memories! Thanks R2.

Summer Gardens, the Causeway in Long Point, Teen Town dances - the Ken Mar in Turkey Point. So many venues that exist no longer for our young people to enjoy!

Teen town dances!! Wow, haven't thought about those in forever!! The weekly chance to go and show off your latest dance moves, or outfit, or sometimes.....even the new boyfriend. Memorable, enjoyable and totally wholesome. No worries of a drink being tampered with, or the possibility of harm on the way home, because you usually travelled in a group. A totally different time to grow up in.
