This from the Simcoe radio website

Another 17 year old man was arrested for assault and will be dealt with through the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

If he is a man he should not be charged under the youth Justice Act. If he is charged under the Act he is not a man, he is a youth.
You can't have it both ways

If he's not guilty does he get to vote, or go into a bar or buy beer and liquor ??? He is 17 , your right you can't have it both ways .
