Finished the pie? That was days ago! A pie only is fresh for two days you know!!!! (I always share two pieces with neighbours.) Since then it's been apple strudel and lemon meringue cheesecake tarts made for a family dinner. Tomorrow I'm making a blueberry/raspberry pie. I want to use up as much of the frozen food before we leave for the south.
Tonight we had trout with a pistachio butter rub I made earlier in the day. It was sooooo yummy. (And I wonder why we don't lose weight!)

Well, didn't get around to the pie but instead made a homemade vegetable soup and more chicken stock. The pie will have to wait until tomorrow.
