Play Now and Download Buttons

Has anyone clicked on the "Play Now" or "Download" buttons at the top of the forum's page? What are they for? Come-ons for ads?

Yes sally - as far as I know. I don't get them any more. I think you have to have posted a certain number of times or something to make them go away (The host forumotion rules - not ours!)
Spidubic may correct me if I'm wrong about that.

I'm at 150 and I still see them. Some come with music, a most startling event when I first logged on. I wondered how to stop it. Found the answer pdq.

There are two settings for the ads. Everyone sees them or just members. Only way to mke the ads disappear for all is to make everyone a mod or admin.
