Olympics Security bungle

Apparently the company that was hired to provide security for the 2012 Olympics cannot come up with enough people for security. The British government will have to employ troops and have police work extra shifts to fill the void.

They have to pay the troops anyway so why not use them

i'd like to know exactley what the budget was that this "security company" was getting ?
the article said the ceo of this firm had commited to paying the military several million british pounds for making up for their shortfalls !
so was this "contract" for Billions for this much to be paying this ?
it wouldn't be an insider type deal would it ?

naw them british mp's are to honest to do that !
