Quebec, Ottawa, France - and now Belgium - all within the last few weeks.

What a tumultuous time we are living in!

I know there's nothing we can do about it as individuals. But, how do we explain this world situation to our grandkids? (because I assume most of the regulars here no longer are parenting young children)

Do you think the kids are aware of all this? - or are they just texting and surfing the Kardashians and whatever else is trendy with today's young people?

I'm sure they are all "aware", meaning that they know these events are happening, but for their own innocence I would hope that the ramifications are not so apparent. I remember during the Cuban missile crisis, when my parents were away vacationing in Hawaii, how my sister and I felt.
