thats why i drink it, just for the water !
but why am i thirsty when i wake up the next day? after all i drank 12-18 the night before, and as my wife had a headache... er need i say more ?

My 'purifying' thing lasted 24 hours. Loved my Gin and Tonic tonight!
Any gin lovers out there? I have discovered a premium gin called Victoria Gin, made in BC. It is ultra smooth. Love it!

I'm much more into red wine. Gin is not my thing. Glad you're enjoying it though. Still doing that on the island?

We were on the island for four days and have returned home to the city for Easter and appointments. Earliest arrival time in 20 years according to the marina guys and one of our island neighbours who arrived three or four hours after us. Apr. 4th had been the record, broken now to March 31st.
If all goes according to plan, we are leaving on Tuesday for six months, returning to the city for some non changable appointments. (Eg. my hubby's cancer check up is in Aug.)
But we don't stay on the island exclusivley. We do take boating day trips, or get into the car and go on day trip to explore some things onland.
Gin and Tonic is a very standard drink for me, as long as there are fresh limes around. I drink white wine (Sauve especially), Vodka martinis (Tito's Vodka from Texas in my fave) and once in a while, a beer.

Norfolk County - long known for having a high consumption of alcohol per capita - now getting into the production of some of that alcohol!

Sounds like a wise move to me! LOL

Probably the same as wine can be sold by the winiers right where they make it. Same with beer at the micro brewiers
