Ok, this virus is freaking me out. Flying infected ppl back to the US to put them in quarantine ... Yikes.

My thoughts are that it's only a matter of time until it makes it way to the North American population.

Today's mobility is great until something like this happens. Personally I would stop all travel in and out until this ugly ebola was in check. I totally realize there are all kinds of reasons why travel can't and won't be put on hold, but containment stops the world wide infestation.

an unbelievable number of deaths from this scourge to date. It would appear that the poverty in the countries where it is so prevalent contribute greatly to its spread.

I'm in agreement with Kishgo. If you have a proven infection within an area and you want to leave it (an who wouldn't) then a quarantine for the period of incubation should be required before exit.
