the reason for long waits in emerg rooms !

on tv the other night, the fifth estate or one like that,they checked a lot of things about hospitals, and healthcare,plus the ceo's payrolls etc.
the idea about a lot of it was cleaning out hospitals, and a lady that lost a family member over it,plus why emergency room waits are so long, and one of the big reasons for that is the amount of people in the waiting rooms, (more people=more money?) using rooms with divided curtains (more services in service areas=more $)having you lay on a stretcher (using stretcher instead of chair= more $) using a wheelchair instead of walking = more $) etc. etc.
nothing about making you better,all about making the hospital more $$$
then if done well the CEO gets up to 15% yearly bonus on top of his or her salary,yearly,that isn't included in what is published in the paper.
and then the cleanly shit was just that as they showed uncleaned areas in infectious areas that weren't touched (railings,furniture,handles,etc.)to be cleaned in over 36 hrs.
SCARY SHOW !!!

It DOES seem to be the way of the world - or at least OUR world - that the no. 1 priority is "What's in it for me?"

My sister works in a hospital in Southern Ontario, no money for A/C, (seniors have died from the heat), but money for new boardroom redo complete with leather chairs.
