Ticks carry a strong probability of carrying Lyme disease. If you find one on yourself, your child or your pet, you should send it away for testing. Here is a simple method suggested for how to easily remove one to be sent away for testing.

Apply a Glob Of Liquid Soap to a Cotton Ball. Cover the Tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball and swab it for a few seconds (15-20), the Tick will come out on its own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away.

TAKE IT TO THE NEAREST PUBLIC HEALTH UNIT TO VERIFY TYPE.
DOG TICKS DO NOT USUALLY CARRY DISEASES

DEER TICKS ARE CARRIERS OF LYME DISEASE AND SHOULD BE TREATED ASAP!!
IF IN DOUBT CALL TELEHEATH !
