Messy storm could create a dangerous commute in southern Ontario

February 26, 2013 — Another winter storm pushing into southern Ontario could create dangerous driving conditions Tuesday night into Wednesday. Just how messy it gets will depend on the temperature.

yeah,.......if it get's up to about 50 f. it will just be a showery day with windy periods !

Parts of FL are under a tornado watch. So far today, we've had some windy times, no rain and right now at almost 4 PM all seems to be okay. The watch was for areas from northern FL to Fort Myers.
Please keep us posted about the snow situation.

Thanks for your concern Kishgo. We had the heavy rain and some wind but that was it. Tampa had some damage when a waterspout came onshore for the short time it takes for them to dissipate after they reach land. I gave a big sigh of relief......don't like weather like that at all!!

Drove home from Detroit airport thro' that "messy storm" last night. 4.5 hours for a 3 hour drive! Wasn't pretty - but to be honest, I have seen worse!

A week in Florida with my sister and bro in law - nothing exotic!

May not be exotic but a great place for fun in the sun. Actually, we just purchased a condo in FL. An exciting time in our lives for sure.

Congratulations Kishgo!!! I hope hubby isn't saying "I told you so" too loudly LOL. Speaking only for myself, once you experience a winter down here its really difficult to think of spending one up north. Irregardless of how much time you spend here, it feels so good when you go back and say "home again"!

Oh GF, I was so afraid of the "I told you so " part, but he's been very good about not saying it all, probably because he got his way! He sure is over the moon happy about this. And I do admit, I love the weather.
To Observer, we are five mintues south of Fort Myers and 20 north of Naple, Gulf side in a town called Estero.
To Growler- even YOUR super duper binoculars cannot see into my bedroom window!!!!

Are you in one of the golf course enclaves kishgo? A large clan of Delhi people are there in Estero as well!

Observer: No, we don't golf at all and that was one of the reasons for choosing our community. No golf, no fees!!! But I am seriously thinking about tennis lessons. Someone mentioned Pickle Ball. That sounded interesting too!
Gale Force: Usually it's just dinner but this year....Wow! It will be hard to beat!!! And that would be it! NO flowers, chocolates or jewellery!
