ALL IN THE FAMILY?

Another ground breaking show - which many of us loved.

Bet there could be a rush to name the 4 main characters - and even the actors who played them! BUT - is it as easy to recall the director/creator's name?

From the 60's. I remember using this show in one of my Grade 9 English literature classes - as a parallel to Shylock in "Merchant of Venice" - to do with racism. Pretended that I agreed totally with the main character's biases. I would probably have been fired - or prosecuted - if I did that today!

Archie And Edith (second guessing now, it's been so long), but no clue on the director's name.

Yeah - the Bunkers - Archie and Edith. And the son-in-law, Archie called Meathead - played by Rob Reiner. Daughter was Gloria - played by Suzanne Sommers.
