It's - several degrees. I haven't had a glass of wine in days. I'm having one now - and it's surrounded by 5 fruit flies?

BUT -don't they know it's freezing outside - and they should be dead? Apparently not!

Where do they hide till the fruit or the wine appear?  Haven't seen one for weeks - BUT I did buy bananas at WalMart today????

And a pineapple - whole - at Food Basics!

Even so - those fruits are in a different room from where I am now! HOW DO THEY DO THAT?

Next thing we know - the police will be using them as a weapon. Have you had any wine today? - NO - Then they let loose all these fruit flies that gravitate to your mouth! New secret weapon for driving under the influence!

Think it was the fresh pineapple I brought home. Found some buzzing around it today. But HOW do they so easily find their way from the pineapple in the kitchen to my wine in the den? LOL

Don't think the pineapple came from Spain??? And who knows if those little guys were just hanging in there under the leaves - or whether their eggs were! THEY ARE ANNOYING!

I think I'll open a bottle of wine and test your theory Observer. I have fruit sitting out on the kitchen counter and haven't seen any flies yet.
