Favourite movies
Do you have any?
Clearly, "The Graduate" ranks on my list. And "The Pink Panther" - always loved Peter Sellers in those. "Gone With the Wind" of course - and "To Kill a Mockingbird".
Strange that they are all SO OLD!!!!

Re: Favourite movies
Me too rbw. Remember the first one only! Probably because it just doesn't seem to suit nearly as well as "John Wayne" - very masculine, tough sounding! "Marion"???? not really!!!

Re: Favourite movies
Yes, Ruby, another good one - and a BIT more modern! LOL
Also really liked Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder - I think it was called "Hear No Evil, See No Evil" Hilarious!

How about "Star Wars" and "ET" - both innovative at their time!

Re: Favourite movies
Sly Stone was Rambo. I've forgotten how many times he reprised the role. One of the nephews had all the Rambo movies on tape and he absolutely cherished them until his son taped over every one!

Re: Favourite movies
2 other movies that I remember now - Sleepless in Seattle - and Love Story. Love Story was a bit of a "girls' movie" I guess, but again, was pretty innovative at its time. Anybody want to name the 2 stars of that one?

Re: Favourite movies
think Ali McGraw and Ryan O'Neil were the Love Story actors, but drawing a complete blank on the line from Sleepless. Funny too that I just watched part of that show recently but don't even recall a restaurant scene....must have been before I punched the dial.
