My hubby loves beef, but especially hamburg. Me, not so much. He has been craving chili and so I made a pot of it using ground turkey instead of beef. My it was yummy and much healthier. We had it for lunch and maybe there will be enough for tomorrow's lunch too. (Little piggies live here!) pig

Do you use fresh chili peppers? - or the dried ones? or the ground spice?

So, which of you makes it difficult for the other to sleep when you're in the same bed?

The value of a good night's sleep vs the comfort of someone in bed beside you, is often underrated! LOL

When we were first married, we tried it. After three months of him tossing, turning, snoring, flopping, jiggling, in and out of bed with an old mattress that slumped in the middle, I gave up and went to the guest room (that I had decorated and refurnished). My hubby had a severe sleep apnea problem that he really didn't understand or acknowledge. It took about two years before he would handle it and only because he was falling asleep everywhere! Upon testing we learned that he stopped breathing 96 times in one night.
So, now he has the machine. I can sleep with that but he still moves about and has to get up to use the bathroom a couple of times a night. We love sleeping seperately. I have a great night's sleep and he doesn't feel guilty about waking me.
The only time we sleep together is when we are on vacation or when company comes to the cottage. Having a king size bed makes it more manageable.
He's not a snuggler either so when we watch tv in bed together (before he gets 'kicked' out) we just sit side by side holding hands.
I know this arrangement would have greatly disturbed me in my 20's 30's and 40's but not so much in my 50's and not at all in my 59 + years.
Sleep is a necessity and I am really a bear without it!!!
