I know we all raised perfect kids - cause we were perfect parents! BUT - did any of your kids happen to pick up any bad habits / traits - from the OTHER side of the family, of course!

... such as borrowing tools that they forget to return?

... or suggesting that you should "call" before dropping in on them - while they feel no need even to knock before they walk in your door?

... OR?

I love having three of our children drop in at any time for any reason. One lives far away so she wouldn't just drop in.

We were perfect parents so I don't know what happened to the oldest. I think he grew up in some other house. Spends money like it grows on a tree.
The youngest knows where every nickel goes.

Do you have any annoying guests? Any know-it-alls that don't really let you get in a word edgewise in a conversation?

Or people who finish your statements for you - INCORRECTLY - most of the time?

Digs or dogs?
Our dog has a pillow we've named Vanessa. He humps her regularly but nothing/no one else!

When I go visit others I always pick up after myself and my family. Not all guests do the same though.

Some of our guests are more than wonderful, helping out with everything. Most are just fine, assisting with whatever I ask. But we have one couple who thinks we are running a B&B and even when asked to do something, conveniently forget or are absent from the scene. Most annoying. And family. Worse yet.

I had a brother-in-law who had this favourite saying: "Just kidding" - and then he would pause 30 seconds and add: "On the level".

Problem was, you usually knew that whatever barb he had just thrown really was as he said - not kidding at all - but "on the level", but he felt he'd retracted by saying "just kidding".

I can never hear that "Just kidding" expression without remembering that.

Okay, so my complaint is about narrow minded people who must have their every whim endulged and / or ridicule those who do not share the same opinion.
