Problem solved..I had a computer shop build this for me and they could not figure out why it was happening and kept blaming nortons 360 .I went to asus company website and my motherboard has 8 ram slots and they had installed 4 sticks og 4 gig ram all installed on one side,Asus had a diagram to use every other slot in this case so I removed the ram and did it the way asus recommended ..Works like a charm now

Glad to hear the problem is fixed. Was it a local computer shop? Might not want to go there
