I see that Environment Canada is calling for a bit of a storm tomorrow ... Seems like there's absolutely nothing in the forcast, and then the next time you look at the weather they're calling for a storm?

I think they were more accurate when they had less precise instruments!

I think they got caught a couple of times not predicting a storm and people were upset so now they over predict storms

Well, it does seem as though they error quite often. Some storms get this huge hype and they amount to diddly ... Then others you don't see coming

There sure was a ton of snow fall, only to be followed by lovely sunshine. Bright day for all the shovelers!

Fortunately, the neighbor has a snow blower - and does our drive. So, yes - what is a shovel?

He is there, he's handy, he's worth it!! I'll be doing the same when I get home this year, but not with the close proximity so probably not the same prompt service.

I used to do driveways a few years ago, charged $10.00, just enough for gas and any repairs to the machine

Have to return for a medical followup appointment in Hamilton scheduled for mid March but am planning to get in a little earlier than that to get my household set up and running again.  Not looking forward to returning to the cold and snow, and even less driving!  Lord help the doctor is he cancels or reschedules this appointment that he insisted I attend.

As to charges for clearing out my driveway......sure wish you were still in business Retired. The rate I will be paying is $25.00, so I'm hoping it doesn't snow too much!
