Easy Sat. meal

Everybody probably has their own version of this easy meal.

Brown some onions, peppers and mushrooms. Then brown about 1 lb. ground beef (or ground chicken, I suppose). Add a can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup and use the can to measure out the same amount of chicken broth. Simmer till the consistency suits you.

Add some pasta if you like.  I often make the pasta separately as my husband doesn't care much for pasta. Eat with some nice bread - or a salad, if you're feeling more ambitious.

Must be an old timer, I use that mix as well,
don't remember how I came apon it ...

Some times I use tomato soup instead

Got this concept from my mother in law - who is now 98 years old, BTW
