Mike Nichols - the award winning director/actor who just died yesterday - was married to Diane Sawyer, a reporter on ONE of the major US TV networks!

He directed Liz Taylor and Richard Burton in "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf" - and directed "The Graduate" - an icon film from the 60's - or maybe early 70's!
